Putting on the full armor

As Christians we are called to put on the full armor. Sometimes I just put on my bathrobe and wonder why I am getting attacked.

Are you putting on the full armor or getting lazy?

Full confession: I get lazy. I don’t always put on the full armor and this morning I realized just how important it is to keep a regular routine of morning prayer no- matter what- and put on my armor.

The enemy loves to attack and will find any opening or chink in the armor. It’s really not about “doing” but talking to God and letting Jesus fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding before you start your day.

When I do this, I know I’m covered. I put everything in His hands when I awake. I talk to Him about my concerns, ask Him for encouragement and to send people into my life that day that I can help or that can help me. I ask Him to bless every conversation. I pray for protection and blessing on my family and friends.  I also thank Him for what He is doing and will do. And I give Him all my cares.

1 Peter 5:7

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

(end of scripture)

I love that verse. Don’t you? He wants us to unload on Him, not our spouse or our neighbor or the guy in front of you on the freeway that just cut you off. When we cast all our cares and anxiety on Him, He really takes it and makes good with it. He takes our worries and gives us peace that surpasses all understanding. Wow! What a trade off! Why would I blow it off out of laziness when I’m the one missing out?

The enemy. The enemy is the great distractor. There is always something more important than prayer: the phone call I need to make, the errand to run, the dishes and laundry waiting. Let it all wait. Nothing is more important then going in your room, closing your door and getting your batteries recharged and renewed by our perfect Lord. He really does do this for us and He patiently waits for us so that He can fill us. All we need to do is ask. What a wonderful, loving Savior we have in Christ Jesus. So today, when you want to put on your comfy robe, throw it aside and put on your full armor instead.

Ephesians 6

The Armor of God

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

No ashes for me even if Christian radio is advocating it.

I’m sort of disgusted. I was listening to Christian radio and  between commercials they were celebrating ash Wednesday, explaining it was good to get ashes to show we are sinners. What? Since when did Christians go Papist? I guess since the Emerging church was in vogue. It’s now an “in” thing to “do ashes” like the Catholic church does and “give up something for 40 days.”

Ashes are supposed to be a reminder that we will all die and return to ash.

Not having to participate in empty rituals like Ash Wednesday is a joy for me as an ex-Catholic. I was bound to so many rituals, holy days and rules, I was in in complete bondage to the Roman Catholic church. If you purposely ate meat on Friday in Lent, it was considered a sin that could send you straight to hell unless you confessed to a priest. This is a doctrine of demons.

1 Timothy 4:1-5

1But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, 2by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, 3men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth. 4For everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; 5for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.

(end of scripture)

What a shame that as I listen to Christian radio there is a full endorsement to practice putting ashes on your head. It’s also a shame that Christian churches follow the Catholic liturgical calendar. Easter (Ishtar), Christmas, Lent are celebrated around the world because the Catholic church does. Every Jewish tradition was thrown out with Constantine and replaced with paganism infused into Christianity.

Today I walk in freedom. I have walked away from the chains that bound me. Only by His grace. He has saved me from a Pharisee existence. Hoping my obedience to the pope would save me. Hoping the rules would save me. It is only His blood that saves me. And as the Israelite’s stood under the door of Passover, the blood was enough to cover them. I stand under His cross and indeed His blood is enough to cover me. Thank you Jesus.

Santorum: Protestanism gone from world of Christianity

Right Wing Watch has released a 2008 clip of Rick Santorum telling Catholic University students of Ave Maria University in Florida that Satan was attacking the USA and all her institutions.

Ultra conservative Rick Santorum is being branded as an Evangelical. Nothing is further from the truth.

He continued on with his speech declaring that politicians, government, academia and religion, specifically mainline Protestantism has been attacked by Satan, not however, the Catholic Church:

And so what we saw this domino effect, once the colleges fell and those who were being education in our institutions, the next was the church. Now you’d say, ‘wait, the Catholic Church’? No. We all know that this country was founded on a Judeo-Christian ethic but the Judeo-Christian ethic was a Protestant Judeo-Christian ethic, sure the Catholics had some influence, but this was a Protestant country and the Protestant ethic, mainstream, mainline Protestantism, and of course we look at the shape of mainline Protestantism in this country and it is in shambles, it is gone from the world of Christianity as I see it. So they attacked mainline Protestantism, they attacked the Church, and what better way to go after smart people who also believe they’re pious to use both vanity and pride to also go after the Church.

You may listen to the clip below to hear the quote:

My Comment:

Santorum is branded to be an Evangelical. I have friends who are Christian who are planning on voting for him. I have said all along, this man would be dangerous as President.  He is a Latin Mass attendee and a Knight of Malta. His first allegiance is to Rome and not the American people.

I am glad this clip was  uncovered by Right Wing Watch in order to wake up the masses. People like the Duggars are promoting him while ignoring his Malta connections. I wonder what they think now?

For Santorum to say that Protestantism is GONE from Christianity shows you his mindset. He wants a Catholic nation. Period. That means, he will eventually agree with amnesty and the whole New Evangelization promo to make the world Catholic.

He says Protestantism is attacked and fails to mention the massive sexual abuse crisis in the Catholic Church alluding to the idea that the Roman Catholic Church is shining and pristine.

Protestants better wake up and realize we are all not in the same camp just because the label of “Christian” is the same. We need to read the fine print always. With a magnifying glass if necessary.

Since many Evangelical churches recognize the pope as a great Christian leader, it is not surprising that the “we are all the same” mentality is so apparent. The deception is that “ALL” Christians must unify against “secularism” which is considered the bigger danger. Meanwhile the Pope makes plans to evangelize the world to Catholicism while securing Jerusalem for future rule. Don’t be deceived.

Ban calls for global economic model that promotes greater social justice

Photo: David Shankbone

20 February 2012 –

Calling on people to tap into the spirit of recent public protests worldwide against inequality, corruption, repression and a lack of decent jobs, Secretary-GeneralBan Ki-moon today stressed the need for economic development to ensure greater social justice for everyone.

Mr. Ban, in a message marking World Day of Social Justice, which is observed on 20 February each year, said the “winds of change have swept across the globe” in the past year, with protests in numerous cities and countries.

“At the heart of this mass mobilization lies a call for social justice,” he said.

The Secretary-General said the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio+20), which will be held in Rio de Janeiro in June, offers governments and policy-makers “a chance to rethink development strategies and business practices so that they point us toward a more sustainable and equitable future.”

He underscored that “sustainability depends on building markets that do a better job of spreading the benefits of development. It means meeting growing consumer demand for greener products and services. And it means laying the foundations for dignity, stability and opportunity for all.

“As we strive to make this transformation, we must integrate social inclusion into our policies and other efforts. Let us work together to balance the global economy and build a new social contract for the 21st century. Let us chart a development path that leads to greater social justice and the future we want.”

The UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), which is also celebrating the Day, said it offered an opportunity to highlight the role of education on promoting sustainable development and social justice.

Education can serve as a catalyst for “a new responsible citizenship,” according to a press release issued by the agency, which cited the positive effects that education can have on reducing poverty, increasing access to jobs, preventing conflict between groups and building tolerance.

Vatican astronomer says Big Bang theory in tune with creation history (Catholic News Service)

.

Vatican City, Feb 4, 2012 / 06:09 pm (CNA).- The director of the Vatican Observatory said that the Church is open to the scientific theory that the world began from a cosmic explosion billions of years ago.

“The Big Bang is not in contradiction with the faith, ” Father Jose Gabriel Funes said during a Feb. 2 announcement of a Vatican exhibit that will feature photos, research tools and minerals from the Moon and Mars.

The exhibit titled “Stories from another world: The Universe within us and outside us,” will be on display March 10 – July 1 in Pisa, the birthplace of Galileo, the father of modern astronomy.

Fr. Funes told CNA at the event that the Big Bang explanation “is the best theory we have right now about the creation of the universe.”

The theory holds that creation began some 14 billion years ago with a colossal explosion in which space, time, energy and matter were created, and galaxies, stars and planets – which are in continual expansion – came to be.

“We know that God is the creator,” he added, “that He is a good Father who has a providential plan for us, that we are his children, and that we everything we can learn by reason about the origin of the universe is not in contradiction with the religious message of the Bible.”

Fr. Funes said that as an astronomer and a Catholic, he is open to this explanation of the creation of the universe, despite “some yet unanswered questions.”

He noted, for example, that while there is no proof of other intelligent life in the universe, “we cannot rule it out,” since studies show that there are nearly 700 planets orbiting other stars.

“If in the future it was established that life, and intelligent life, exists, which I think would be very difficult, I don’t think this contradicts the religious message of creation because they would also be creatures of God,” he said.

Ultimately, Catholics “should see the cosmos as a gift of God” and should “admire the beauty that exists in the universe.”

“This beauty we see in some way leads us to the beauty of the creator,” he said.

“And also, because God has granted us intelligence and reason, we can find the logos, that rational explanation that exists in the universe that allows us to engage in science as well.”

The Church’s official interest in astronomy dates back to the 16th century. In 1891, Pope Leo XIII decided to officially create the Vatican Observatory to show that the Church is not against scientific development, but rather promotes it.

Since then, the Vatican Observatory has operated out of Castel Gandolfo and uses a telescope located in Tuscon, Arizona, for research.

Thousands Seek De-Baptism in Europe

Europeans in the thousands get de-baptized as a revolt against the sexual abuse in the Roman Catholic church.

The de-baptized, “de-baptize” people and then given them a certificate like this one
.

Ten years ago a man named Rene Lebouvier asked the local Catholic church to take him off the baptism registrar. When Lebouvier learned of the sex scandals and continued stance on birth control, Rene demanded the church remove him from all records permanently.

Rene stated, “It’s a sort of honesty toward the church because they have a guy on their register who doesn’t believe in God.”

Rene won a court ruling in Normandy which agreed that his name should be permanently deleted from the records.

Lebouvier is not the only one seeking de-baptism. Thousands are following suit, some of them by refusing state church taxes.

“The movement is happening across Europe,” said Anne Morelli, who heads a center studying religion and secularity at the Free University of Brussels. “It was very apparent during 2011 — in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and Austria. It is obviously related to the scandals of pedophile priests, but it has been going on for some time.”

Although there are no official statistics, experts guess the number de-baptized is in the tens of thousands.

In 2011 it is said that 181,000 people in Germany have left the Catholic church. The number is based on government papers filed by citizens who say they no longer will pay church taxes.

Thousands in Britain have downloaded de-baptism certificates. In Belgium 2000 certificates were requested in 2011.

“It’s not by chance that in Germany, Austria and Belgium that the movement is strongest,” says Belgian researcher Morelli, noting countries that levy church taxes, which France does not. “It’s also a struggle about subsidies the population must pay for a church that doesn’t represent them.”

Here is what the de-baptism certificate says in the photo above:

“I ________ having been subjected to the Rite of Christian Baptism in infancy (before reaching an age of consent), hereby publicly revoke any implications of that Rite and renounce the Church that carried it out. In the name of human reason, I reject all its Creeds and all other such superstition in particular, the perfidious belief that any baby needs to be cleansed by Baptism of alleged ORIGINAL SIN, and the evil power of supposed demons. I wish to be excluded henceforth from enhanced claims of church membership numbers based on past baptismal statistics used, for example, for the purpose of securing legislative privilege.”

In the following clip from ABC news, people getting de-baptized get blown with a hair drier to “reverse” the baptism:

Sources: Huffingtonpost.com, VOA

My Comment:

None of this comes of a surprise to me. This is the fruit of infant baptism.

Babies do not have faith. Babies do not choose to proclaim their faith in Jesus publicy. Babies do not choose to follow Jesus. This fact has brought millions of false “Christians” into the world because of infant baptism.

The Catholic Church, and several Protestant churches sprinkle water over babies heads and declare them saved Christians. Here a few of those “Christians:” Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Lady Gaga and the singer Madonna.

In the middle ages, infant baptism was a registry. If you did not get baptized, you were kicked out of the country. What a mockery of baptism. Imagine the millions of people having their babies baptized as to not get expelled from the country. Then if you didn’t believe what the church taught, you were burnt at the stake.

The Catholic Church and all churches that promote infant baptism now have thousands running to have it reversed. They don’t want to be associated with a church that abuses children and covers up the crimes.

If this isn’t blatant proof that infant baptism does not make you a Christian, then I don’t know what is.

Acts 8:34-40

34The eunuch answered Philip and said, “Please tell me, of whom does the prophet say this? Of himself or of someone else?” 35Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture he preached Jesus to him. 36As they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch said, “Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?” 37[And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, you may.” And he answered and said, “I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.”] 38And he ordered the chariot to stop; and they both went down into the water, Philip as well as the eunuch, and he baptized him. 39When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and the eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing. 40But Philip found himself at Azotus, and as he passed through he kept preaching the gospel to all the cities until he came to Caesarea.

New World Order in India: citizens rush to get biometric id cards

A perfect place to try out the world tracking system in mass. Indians seem oblivious to signing their private lives away.

Is there a better place for a trial run? With the Caste system still in tact, even the lowly feels like a somebody, with their own ID cards. They also have a false security that having this ID card will make them feel “safe.” They gladly give up their liberty for the feeling of safety. This is only the beginning of a world wide biometric system that will later be the implantation of RFID chips inside the body to buy and sell.
