Archbishop Tells UN We Need World Government

The Vatican’s Chief Foreign-Policy official, Archbishop Dominque Mamberti ,tells the UN General Assembly that the world has lost confidence in the moral principals that sustain the organization.

The archbishop expressing disappointment there is no world government yet.

The archbishop states that international problems and the economic fears is due to “a profound anthropological crisis—that is, a loss of a common understanding of what is truly human.” The Vatican official explained that “only an international community firmly anchored in authentic values consistent with human dignity can produce viable solutions to new types of conflicts.”

Referring to terrorism, Mamberti said there needed to be a consensus of mortality as an antidote to “new types of conflicts initiated by transnational groups that spread a pseudo-religious ideology of contempt for human rights and civil peace.” He said that the problem is shown “most flagrantly by current developments in the Middle East, and in particular in Syria.”

The archbishop praised the UN’s work for world peace but felt the structure was lacking, stating the organization “deprived of the force of unity and persuasive power that it could legitimately have” because of the lack of a clear international accord on basic moral principles, such as those that were set forth earlier in fundamental international agreements on human rights.

“How is it,” the archbishop questioned, “that in spite of universal acceptance of the UN charter and fundamental treaties, we cannot establish a real and equitable system of world government?”

Mamberti also mentioned the disparity between the rich and the poor and that “world wide action” is needed to quell the global financial crisis.

My Comment:

Anyone with eyes to see, can see the woman riding the beast. The Vatican is demanding quick action by the UN to bring in world government and a world currency. It is clear the Vatican is getting impatient by basically asking “Now that you have world wide approval from the nations and everything is in place, why don’t we have world government yet?!”

The Vatican notes, that they will approve of this new world order as long as all of her doctrines and dogmas are accepted into the world religion to come with it. After the murder of the USA ambassadors, Catholic Bishop Giovanni Martinelli, the apostolic vicar of Tripoli, told Vatican Insider that Western countries should have the “courage” to ban “all blasphemous projects” and establish “a policy that is respectful of religion.” This is beginning of the world religion that will be implemented into the fast approaching world government. No one will be able to insult Islam or Catholicism or other world religions. Freedom of speech will be quelled because the true Gospel will be called hate speech.

The underground church will again resurface as we will join our brothers and sisters who worship in secret in many places around the world.

Revelation 17:1-2

One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the punishment of the great prostitute, who sits by many waters. With her the kings of the earth committed adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries.”

Patriarch says people need to repent for pollution

ISTANBUL (CNS) — Praying for the protection of the environment includes asking God’s forgiveness for the small or serious ways each individual contributes to pollution, said the Ecumenical Orthodox patriarch of Constantinople. Patriarch Bartholomew, the Istanbul-based spiritual leader of the world’s Orthodox and a longtime promoter of Christian ecology, issued a message on the environment Aug. 27 in preparation for the celebration Sept. 1 of the Day of Prayer for the Environment. The Sept. 1 observance was begun by Patriarch Bartholomew’s predecessor in 1989 and has been adopted by other Christians, including the Catholic Church in Italy. Pope Benedict XVI has said the day of prayer is an important ecumenical initiative. In his message for the 2012 observance, Patriarch Bartholomew said God “created the universe and formed the earth as a perfect dwelling place for humanity.” Praying that God protect his creation, therefore, is “essentially a petition of repentance for our sinfulness in destroying the world instead of working to preserve and sustain its ever-flourishing resources reasonably and carefully,” the patriarch said. “We are ultimately imploring God to change the mindset of the powerful in the world, enlightening them not to destroy the planet’s ecosystem for reasons of financial profit” and selfishness, he said.

Papal message of support for inter-religious gathering in Japan

CWN – August 03, 2012

Pope Benedict XVI has sent his greetings to an Inter-religious Gathering of Prayer for World Peace, being held in Japan. The Pontiff noted that the meeting—an annual event held on Mount Hiel—evokes “the spirit of the 1986 historic meeting in Assisi” convened by Blessed John Paul II.

The Pope expressed confidence that the Mount Hiel meeting—the 35th such annual gathering at the Japanese site—would produce positive results for inter-religious amity. He also voiced his hope that the meeting would bring progress on the subject under discussion at this year’s gathering: the response of religious groups to natural disasters.

“According to the Christian perspective,” the Pope wrote, “the love given lo those who suffer is a reflection of the divine charity of God who so loved the world that he sent his only Son Jesus Christ.” In that light, he said, the coordinated effort to help victims of last year’s earthquake in Japan was an uplifting demonstration of “how people of different beliefs can cooperate with one another for the good of the human person.”

Holy Spirit Held Hostage?

Holy Spirit Held Hostage?

Well, so says a new petition “made at the Our Lady of All Nations Prayerday in Amsteredam [sic]” this past Sunday. It was a “world wide open petition to Pope Benedict for a new coming of the Holy Spirit.”

Apprising Ministries points you to this rather peculiar situation where, in the superstition of apostate Roman Catholicism, apparently Pope Benedict and the Virgin Mary are a bit at odds and holding up the Holy Spirit.

In the video below Dr. Mark Miravalle fills us in further concerning a petition about Mary, “the Mother of all Nations.” He reminds us that she allegedly appeared via apparitions in Amsterdam “from 1945 to 1959.”

He speculates that she chose to so grace Amsterdam because “it is the most universal city in the world” represented by “over 120 different nationalities.” He explains that the apparitions had a “universal message.”

Miravalle then tells us these apparitions, which he does believe to be the Virgin Mary, gave:

a prayer for all people to pray and ultimately seeking the proclamation of a dogma; a solid proclamation that she is, indeed, the spiritual mother of all peoples–under it’s three essential aspects of co-redemptrix, mediatrix of all graces, and advocate.

Below you’ll see that Miraville goes on to tell us about a very special announcement also made a week ago today concerning “the launch of a world wide open petition to Pope Benedict for a new coming of the Holy Spirit.”

Miraville tells us how important he thinks this petition is because, as he sees it, the future of the world may depend upon our receiving “the Holy Spirit anew, and it’s through Mary.” In fact, says Miraville:

Our Lady has told us, it’s only with the proclamation of this dogma, will peace enter the world. So these are her words.

Hmm, I would think that Jesus—the Prince of Peace—might take a different view. It almost sounds like a type of spiritual extortion: “Make me the fourth member of the Godhead or I’ll withhold the Holy Spirit and world peace.”

Miravalle hopes that through”intercession of Mary” Roman Catholics will continue to petition Pope Benedict, their “beloved Holy Father,” to officially proclaim this Marian dogma. He continues:

And let’s remember, it’s our Lady herself who asks for petitions; where she say on May 31, 1954, “Work and ask for this dogma; you should petition the Holy Father for this dogma”…

This is important for the good of the Church. So join in this online, world-wide, petition for a new Pentecost, through the intercession of our Lady, to the proclamation of Mary as the spiritual mother of all peoples.

“Mary” seems a bit perturbed and a tad bossy to me. One wonders why she herself just doesn’t ask God to make that proclamation. O wait; it’s not that Holy Father. She means we have to petition the pope, the other holy father.

Let’s see if we have this straight; we ask the under god to officially proclaim Mary Co-Redemptrix and Co-Mediatrix for God the Holy Father and then she’ll intercede for a second Pentecost to send God the Holy Spirit?

Well, following is the petition itself:

Aside from addressing this to “his holiness,” I don’t fault the first two paragraphs. As a former Roman Catholic, and now Christian pastor, I’m concerned about those things as well. I agree, we definately need God’s help.

However, we don’t need a second coming of the Holy Spirit; He is already here. Acts 2 describes when God the Holy Spirit came to fulfill Jesus’ High Priestly Prayer of John 17 to bring the Body of Christ into union with God.

We read in this petition that, “Mary prayed for the Holy Spirit to come at Pentecost, and the Holy Spirit came.” No, she was among the other believers in Jesus Christ who were praying. Jesus had earlier told them:

“And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” (Luke 24:49)

Jesus said He was sending the Holy Spirit, Mary had nothing to do with it (cf. John 15:26; John 16:7). This next part is absolutely not even close to Christian theology:

Mary has said that she will intercede for a New Pentecost if you, Holy Father, would publicly proclaim her role as the Spiritual Mother of humanity. This proclamation will lead to a new descent of the Holy Spirit and an era of world peace (see Fatima, Amsterdam, Akita Apparitions, etc).

Seriously; Mary will only intercede if she gets her demand to be named “Spiritual Mother of humanity?” Does this mean Almighty God is held hostage to his creation Mary’s demands and hamstrung if His “Vicar” doesn’t comply?

In closing this, for now, notice the petition then says:

we believe in the powerful intercession of Mary as Advocate to bring the light of Holy Spirit into the world today.

Really; Mary as advocate. Have you noticed Who’s been missing in all of this nonsense? Jesus. It is written:

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self,…having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. (2 Timothy 3:1-2; 2 Timothy 3:5)

Scottish cardinal calls for ‘Robin Hood tax’

Written by Catholic Culture News

Cardinal Keith O’Brien has lent his support to calls for a “Robin Hood tax” on the financial sector.

“My message to [Prime Minister] David Cameron is to seriously think again about this Robin Hood tax, the tax to help the poor by taking a little bit from the rich,” the prelate said. “The poor have suffered tremendously from the financial disasters of recent years and nothing, really, has been done by the very rich people to help them.”

Referring to the “reasonably well off,” Cardinal O’Brien added that “it is these people who have had to suffer because of the financial disasters of recent years and it is immoral. It is not moral just to ignore them and to say struggle along, while the rich can go sailing along in their own sweet way.”

Pope: The Word of God is not confined to Bible

Is this the Word or does the Word include Tradition?

The pope is reiterating a long held Catholic dogma that the Bible is not the only Word of God, but so is Sacred Tradition. In stating this, the Catholic Church can add to the Word of God whenever they want, since they believe Tradition is equal to the Bible. Dogma like the Immaculate Conception and the Immaculate Assumption are not in the bible. However the church says it is part of the Word of God since it remains in Sacred Tradition and it was also proclaimed from the “seat of Peter.” This is a dangerous theology. What else will be added to the ‘Word’ in the future? Because of this theology the Roman Catholic Church says they are the only church on earth that can interpret the scriptures. Let us not forget the Bereans who were praised for not believing even what the apostles told them, not until they read the scriptures and searched them thoroughly. We are told Not to follow traditions of men like the pharisees, but to hold fast to the Word and be born again. Read the following article from Catholic Culture news:

Word of God lives on in Church tradition, Pope reminds Biblical Commission

In a message to the Pontifical Biblical Commission, Pope Benedict XVI has observed that “the Word of God is not confined to writing,” but has “continued to be announced and interpreted by the living tradition of the Church.”

While Revelation “ended with the death of the last apostle,” the Pope said, the Word of God is not “an inert matter” but rather the “life force” of the Church. Tradition, passed on from the apostles, “advances with the assistance of the Holy Spirit, and grows through reflection and study on the part of believers,” he said.

For that reason, the Pope stressed in his message, it is important to study and understand the role of inspiration in the Scriptures—which was the topic of this week’s meeting of the Pontifical Biblical Commission. The Pope concluded that it is critical to interpret Scripture according to its proper nature, “and inspiration and truth are constituent characteristics of that nature.”
